Knowledge & Expertise: Shirley Evans-Wofford has over 37 years of experience in the insurance industry. With the experience obtained from serving as a Senior Vice President at Marsh & McLennan, Inc. for 20 years she ventured and started Lambent Risk Management Services, Inc. in 2001.

As President and CEO, Shirley directs, manages and serves as the chief executive responsible for the daily operations of the brokerage and consulting firm providing marketing, program design, coverage analysis and insurance placement for municipalities, nonprofits, corporations, higher-level learning institutions; and personal lines. Emphasis is placed on developing, implementing and administering risk management programs designed to ensure the broadest coverage while generating the most economic savings in the form of reduce premiums for each valued client. Shirley is also charged with providing sound decision making for all facets of the brokerage firm that include but, not limited to estimating and preparing bids, selection and retention of management/senior level personnel, financial decisions and contract execution.

Education / Professional Designations / Affiliations: Shirley is licensed in Property, Casualty and Accident and Health lines; and has completed numerous education and training coursework across all insurance disciplines. As an active member in her community Shirley serves on a number of Boards, education and social committees inclusive of serving as the Board President for Literacy Chicago.
