With approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experiencing some form of mental illness, it is estimated that mental health and substance abuse cost employers over $225 billion to annually.

Hosted by the Chamber’s Healthcare Council, this event will explore how developing an open, supportive culture around mental health in the workplace is good for business. What are the hidden costs of not destigmatizing it, especially in traditionally high-stress fields? How can employers include mental health awareness into their diversity & inclusion efforts? What resources, such as Employee Resource Groups and Employee Assistance Programs, are available?
