DLA Piper LLP (US), 444 W. Lake Street #900, Chicago, IL, 60601
The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act created new incentives for investments in certain low-income communities known as “qualified opportunity zones.” These incentives have the potential to be win-wins for investors and our communities.

Learn the fundamentals of the opportunity zones (OZ) incentive, including definitions of key terms, how the incentive works, how the Treasury regulations define best practices for OZs and outstanding issues, and how businesses can benefit from opportunity zones. Get grounded in the incentive and have your questions answered by experts.

Panelists include:
-Dan Rahill, Partner, BDO USA, LLP
-Chris Boehm, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Cresset Partners
-Mohammed M. Elahi, Deputy Director, Cook County Bureau of Economic Development
-Kevin Goldsmith, Program Manager, Community Development Tax Credits and Intermediaries Lending, Chase
-Ken Redman, Financial Services & Private Equity Tax Practice Leader, Central Region, BDO USA, LLP
