The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with WeWork is offering a series of free information sessions about the 8th Annual James Tyree Emerging Business Leadership Award. Join us to learn about the application process and hear from past winners on how the award has opened doors for their businesses.

The James Tyree Award recognizes an inspiring small business leader who has excelled in business while making a lasting impact in their community. This award is in memory of James Tyree, former Chairman and CEO of Mesirow Financial and Chairman of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, who was not only an exceptional business leader, but also dedicated to civic engagement serving on numerous civic and non-profit boards throughout his esteemed career.

The Chamber partners with Mesirow Financial and CIBC to provide the award’s $50,000 prize, which will be awarded at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting in June.

The February 20th session with feature 2018 James Tyree Award Recipient, Corenelius Griggs, President of GMA Construction Group. In his 15+ years of experience, Griggs has completed projects in education, healthcare, affordable housing, aviation, and heavy civil.
