From the President’s Desk:
Chicagoland Business Leadership Network
The Chicagoland Business Leadership Network (CBLN) is plugged in and powered up to deliver.
The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce has a long history of supporting the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce. From the former disabilityworks program to the CBLN (through the Chicagoland Chamber Foundation) we are your connection to inclusion.
One year after ADA25, the yearlong initiative that leveraged the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act to expand disability inclusion, the CBLN keeps the momentum going with the 2nd Annual Disability Inclusion Opportunity Summit on Friday, October 21st, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois, 30th Floor (300 E. Randolph St., Chicago 60601).
A by-business, for-business initiative of the Chamber Foundation and an affiliate of the U.S. Business Leadership Network, the CBLN is the only program of its kind in the region, delivering the experts, recommendations, and tools to help companies understand and embrace the value and abilities of all people in the workforce.
As the premier conference in the Midwest exploring business issues related to disability inclusion, the Opportunity Summit is designed for employers but also human resources, talent acquisition, and diversity and inclusion professionals. This full-day event promises to be an informative and engaging exchange of strategies, best practices, business concerns, and success stories related to disability inclusion in the workplace as well as the supply chain and marketplace. Please encourage your HR, talent and D&I personnel to attend. If you have questions, please contact CBLN Program Director Laura Wilhelm at firstname.lastname@example.org.
